The Romanian Achitecture Competition-Exhibition

Saturday, June 12th, 2010

The Romanian Architecture Competition – Exhibition with its three-layer levels: a competition of architecture, the exhibition and professional conferences will take place in autumn 2010 and will focus on intelligent and alternative solutions part of a responsible architecture.

The abrupt end of an uninterrupted stage of development lets us face not only the time for an assessment (what was validly built in the last years, what was damaged), but also the question: what relevance may architecture have during a crisis? A question that is even more applicable in such times, when stylistic debates need to leave space for intelligent ideas and alternative solutions, and for a responsible architecture.

This is the key criterion for nominations and awards in the Romanian exhibition BAB_10.

The exhibition dedicated to the last 2 years Romanian projects will be open from 1st to 26th October at ¾ Gallery – National Theatre of Bucharest.
