This year, the Union of Romanian Architects and Arhitectura Review are organizing the 7th edition of Bucharest Architecture Biennial (BAB).

The contest-exhibition within the Biennial includes 8 sections: architecture <1000 sqm, architecture > 1000 sqm, urban planning and urban landscaping, interior architecture and scenography, object design, restoration of architectural monuments, building restoration and architecture publications.

Architects are invited to bring their contest boards at the Arhitectura review headquarters, in No. 9, Zece Mese St., 2nd District, Bucharest, until 12 October 2006. For further information, see BAB06 Rules and Instructions

The most relevant moments of BAB06:

• Vernissage of the BAB06 architecture contest–exhibition - November 2nd, MNAC, ¾ Galleries of the National Theatre in Bucharest, 18.00 hours (the exhibition will remain open until December 2nd)
  Award gala of the BAB06 architecture contest – 11 November, Romanian Athenaeum, 19.00 hours (awards and cocktail).
• BAB06 nominations and awards will be itinerated in 10 cities in the first 6 months of 2007: Craiova, Sibiu, Cluj, Timişoara, Oradea, Braşov, Suceava, Bacău, Iaşi, Constanţa.
